On August 21, 2025, the Faculty of Technology, Mahasarakham University, hosted a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Mahasarakham University and Jember University, Republic of Indonesia, to strengthen academic relations and promote international exchange.
The MoU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prayook Srivilai, President of Mahasarakham University, and Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna Rector of Jember University. Witnesses to the signing included Prof. Dr. Preecha Prathepha, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, MSU, and Prof. Drs. Slamin, M.Comp.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Rector for International Affairs, Jember University.
The agreement aims to foster close collaboration in academic and research activities, including faculty, staff, and student exchanges, as well as information sharing between the two institutions. It also seeks to promote mutual understanding and build a strong, long-term partnership between the universities.
Following the signing, both parties held discussions on future cooperation in several areas, including:
Student exchange and internships: introducing students from Jember University’s Faculty of Agriculture who joined the program, and MSU’s Faculty of Technology students who will participate in exchanges.
Joint research and training: enhancing research capacity and faculty development.
Expanding collaboration opportunities: exploring further initiatives to maximize the benefits for both institutions.
