In the spirit of care and contribution to their alma mater, alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jember (UNEJ) donated 10 bicycles to the faculty on Monday (July 21). The handover ceremony took place in the Faculty of Agriculture's meeting room and was attended by alumni representatives, the dean's office, and the alumni association committee of the Faculty of Agriculture at UNEJ. The bicycles are intended to support student mobility, particularly for those living near the campus who require environmentally friendly transportation. The Chairman of the UNEJ Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association, Prof. Dr. Ir. Soetriono, M.P., stated that this initiative is a concrete expression of alumni concern for students' current needs. “We hope these bicycles will be utilized to the fullest by our younger students, especially to support academic activities, laboratory work, and organizational activities within the campus,” said Prof. Soetriono.
On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at UNEJ, Prof. M. Rondhi, S.P., M.P., Ph.D., expressed his gratitude for the contributions made by the alumni and stated that the faculty would manage the use of these bicycles fairly and equitably. "This assistance is very meaningful, not only from a functional perspective but also as a strong symbol of the bond between the alumni and the faculty. We will ensure that these bicycles are used by students who truly need them," said Prof. Rondhi. The handover ceremony took place in a warm atmosphere and concluded with the signing of the minutes and the symbolic handover of the bicycles to the dean's office. This assistance is hoped to mark the beginning of more collaborative programs between alumni and the faculty in efforts to enhance the comfort and productivity of learning for students at the Faculty of Agriculture, UNEJ.
