Jember, May 27, 2025 — The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jember (Faperta Unej) has once again expanded its network of cooperation with the industrial sector through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with PT. Restu Agropro Jayamas (PT. RAJA), a company that produces high-quality agricultural seeds and agrochemical products, both organic and inorganic. The signing of the PKS took place on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Faculty of Agriculture, UNEJ. The agreement was signed directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jember, and the Owner and Director of PT. Restu Agropro Jayamas.

This collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between the academic and business worlds, particularly in the fields of education, training, and agricultural research. Some key points agreed upon in this collaboration include PT. RAJA committing to accept students from the Faculty of Agriculture at UNEJ as interns and research participants. Additionally, the company is willing to contribute to practitioner-led teaching activities by bringing industry professionals into the classroom. Both parties also agreed to collaborate on research activities that support agricultural development and innovation. This collaboration is expected to produce applied research that benefits both society and the business world. In his remarks, Prof. M. Rondhi stated that this collaboration is a concrete step toward strengthening the connection between university curricula and industry needs.

The dean's office expressed gratitude, as in addition to the signing of the cooperation agreement, PT Restu Agropro Jayamas also provided soft skills training to prospective graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture through motivational games to bring them closer to the world of agriculture. Meanwhile, Dedy Supriadi, Director of PT. Restu Agropro Jayamas, emphasized the importance of collaboration with higher education institutions to enhance human resource capacity and accelerate innovation implementation in the agricultural sector. “We are confident that collaboration with universities will drive more adaptive and sustainable agricultural progress,” he said.

Through this collaboration, the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jember and PT. RAJA are committed to continuing their productive partnership to support the growth of an innovative, resilient, and highly competitive agricultural sector.
